Aevi
Digital memorial platform
A page to remember, one step from the headstone.
Aevi brings a biography, photos, videos and tributes together on a memorial page. Visitors at the grave scan the QR code engraved on the headstone and find the memorial on their phone. The digital memorial is free.

The project
A headstone carries a name and two dates. Aevi adds the rest.
The biography, the photos, the videos, the messages from people who knew them. The family creates the page in about five minutes, an account is only needed when saving, and they choose whether it is public, reachable only by link, or private.
The QR code on the headstone holds a permanent code, not the page address. If the family later makes the memorial private, the plaque still leads to the right page and shows neither the name nor the address to anyone without access.
The memorial
Looked after by the family, open to visitors.
Gallery, biography, family, messages and tributes sit on one page. Visitors leave a thought or light a candle; messages appear once the family approves them.

On the phone
Created, scanned and visited from a phone.
Whoever scans the QR code is standing at a grave with a phone in hand. That is why the memorial page shows up straight away, even before the JavaScript has loaded.
Guided creation
Name and dates, photos, memories and QR code in four steps. You can also start from a photo of the death notice.
The headstone QR code
The code is free: the family downloads the vector file to hand to the stonemason for engraving.
Dates to remember
Anniversaries with email reminders, the resting place and a shared family grave.
Privacy
GPS location and phone model are removed from visitors’ photos. There is no Google Analytics on memorial pages.
